"First things first, expect a long queue at this branch almost any time of the day. I came for breakfast on a Friday morning and as usual, the place was packed. Joined the line and waited for quite a while before getting a table. One word to describe this place: expensive! It has definitely taken on a more touristy vibe over time. That said, the food itself wasn’t bad. The main issue is really the pricing. One meal and a small-ish drink (filled with plenty of ice) came up to RM45+, which feels steep for local fare. As of February 2026, I noticed they’ve opened another branch at Terminal 1. So if you’re craving local food before a flight, you can now find them at both terminals. Overall, decent food - just be prepared for the queue and the prices."

"Oriental Kopi in Suria was supposed to be our very first meal in KL, but there was a long line so we ended up in the Foodcourt / Signatures at Level 4. Ironically, Oriental Kopi in KLIA T2 is our last meal in KL because at around 6am, the line was minimal. And we're glad we were able to finally try it! The assam laksa was delicious, the ayam goreng was juicy and the sambal was spicy yet sweet and completely balances the dish. The highlight was the kopi. It is that unforgettable KL kopi that I will surely miss! Keep in mind that there was a luggage space just on the side of the entrance to stow away your things while eating inside."

"Had a great experience dining at Oriental Kopi KLIA Terminal 2 Departure. The ambience is bright, clean, and comfortable—perfect for enjoying a proper meal before a flight. Service is fast despite the crowd, and the staff remain friendly and attentive. Food-wise, the quality is consistently good. Their signature Oriental coffee is aromatic with a smooth, strong finish, great for a pre-flight perk-up. The kaya butter toast is crisp outside and fluffy inside, while the nasi lemak and polo bun are satisfying and freshly prepared. Prices are slightly above average, but reasonable for airport standards considering the portion and taste. A reliable spot to settle down, recharge, and enjoy a comforting Malaysian meal before departure. Would definitely return."

"Delish Malaysian eats & kopis The GOAT? The OK nasi leak ayam berempah... Hands down over the briyani rendang. Don't get me wrong. The biryani is good too but it's obvious to me which is the MVP. The halal CKT is also spot on. I was apprehensive at first due to it being halal. But I was surprised by it's execution. Enough char, chilli hotness, and flavoured the way I remembered it from Penang, savory and enriched with prawn umami. The highly rated egg tart was just normal to me though. Good but short of the oomph that gives a egg tart the custardly buttery aromatic mouth feel. Try the pandan version instead! Yums!!! OK signature Kopi is again my kind of Uncle kopi. Good balance of robusta, arabica and Liberica beans. You get the best of all three in one cuppa! Service is fast and efficient. Atmosphere... I guess it's to expect within the confines of KLIA. Noisy and loud."

"As usual, this particular restaurant is packed with customers. We were lucky to have only q for 10 minutes. The menu book is very well done, showcasing a particular food adequately, whets up one's appetite. A must try is the Penang Char kuey teow and Teh C cincau."

"We finally tried the Oriental Kopi taro polo bun at KLIA2 and it was such a treat. The warm bun had a crisp top and the taro filling was creamy with a strong flavour, especially good with the cold butter. I wished the filling was a bit more generous, but it was still worth a try. The double butter kaya toast remained our favourite and dipping it into the kopi made it even better. Both the kopi O kosong and teh C kosong were strong and comforting before the flight.
